Description

This sensor is small, versatile linear Hall-effect device that is operated by the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or an electromagnet.

The linear sourcing output voltage of the SIG pin is set by the supply voltage and varies in proportion to the strength of the magnetic field.

If you supply 5V for VCC and GND, it will output about 2.5V when it is in the 0G magnet field. If it detects South pole, it will output voltage higher that 2.5V. If it detects North pole, it will output voltage lower that 2.5V.
